Introduction
My name is Scott. I am a photographer and videographer. A graduate from the University of Brighton and my current role is Head of Creative at INGRAINED Creative where I primarily manage and produce content for B2B. I have been a professional photographer for over 20 years and delved into the video and cinema production world approximately 8 years ago. I have had my works featured in Shoot Nations and displayed within the United Nations, and formerly represented by The Photographic Youth Music Culture Archive.
My first role as a professional photographer was producing eCommerce content for a football brand in Somerset, and I found myself photographing events, nightlife and weddings from there. Now my main area of work covers, portraits, music PR, weddings and events, and I also enjoy travelling and documenting experiences and locations abroad.
Working
I have evolved my ways of working for many years. Younger me with better knees just went out and did what was asked. Older me now takes time to listen and understand the needs and requirements of what is being asked. Having spent 10 years as the Head of Creative at a production agency has given me many learning opportunities to take a more considered approach in creating both stills and video works. By the time that I have completed any preproduction for a brief there will be a full understanding of what is being produced for who. For myself, understanding who will be looking at my work helps me step up and produce wonderful images and is part of the reason I have been happily commissioned time after time with many clients.
On production, I am a very relaxed person looking to make the experience for others as enjoyable as possible. Having worked in many sectors with people who are both comfortable in-front of a camera, and others who will have their first moment professionally behind the lens. I enjoy finding opportunities to make everyone relaxed and turn the session into a moment where everyone can take away several laughs and warm memories.
Rates
My rates are dependant upon what role you are wanting. For photography, & video capture respectively I charge at either Half Day from 550/650 or Full Day from 950/1100 with overages from 70ph when necessary. I have a more detailed rates card which can be found here and for commercial works that require licensing I will either refer through to my production agency or calculate independently where applicable.
